Women Grow Anniversary
Last night my team and I attended the Women Grow NYC Chapter networking meeting at Selfie HQ at 388 Broadway, Manhattan.
The event was organized by Melissa Meyer ESQ, chair of the NYC chapter of Women Grow. Around 50 or so ganjaprenuers, activists and cannabis enthusiasts. Ms. Meyer was proud to announce last night was their largest attendence to date as they celebrated their one year anniversary.
Melissa is a great contact to have made being that she also runs an organization called HealthMJ (HealthMJ.com) which educates patients on the benefits of cannabis. Im excited to connect with patients who are currently treating their diseases with cannabis.
I met some other great people including two patients currently treating their cancers with cannabis oil. I look forward to meeting them again to interview them! Another exciting women we met is working on a cannabis infused green tea! :)
