At the Shomberg Center in Harlem NYC a panel of 6 former NYPD officers gathered to discuss abusive and racist police practices. Carlton Berkeley President of Brothers and Sisters Who Care told the audience that his experience as a NYPD Detective 2nd grade led him to the conclusion that the public should NOT speak to NYPD officers.
